Hello!
Guess what? It's time to start stocking the snack stand for our next home game on 10/14 against Central Catholic! Because this is Zephyr Home Coming, we should have a large crowd.
Since we have back to back home games followed by the Home Show Competition, I've upped some of the counts a bit to try to get ahead on what we'll need. Because we had such a dramatic temperature drop before the last game, we went through a LOT of hot chocolate and coffee. We went through the equivalent of 8 4.7lb cans of hot chocolate mix. That's over 37 lbs of hot chocolate mix! So yes, the 12 on the sign up genius is legit.
Reminder.... 4 of the snack stand "regulars" are senior parents who won't be around next year. If you haven't volunteered yet and would like to, be sure to sign up. We also need extra bodies just to handle the hot drink volume. Having parents with a bit of experience will help to keep things running smoothly next year. If you can't donate your time, please consider donating snacks or drinks.
Snack Stand - 10/14 - Volunteers and Donations
I will be at drop off and pick up for each practice, and I will be at pick up after each away game and competition.
For those who don't know, I drive a grey Honda minivan with Eeyore and Dumbo stickers on the third row windows.
Since 10/13 is the Fall Fest Parade, pick up times are rather loose, so it might be best if all donations could be dropped off by the 10/11 practice.
If possible, please fill out the sign up by 10/10, so I can plan my backfill shopping accordingly.
