Hello MZB Members and Parents!
As we wrap up 2022, we are looking ahead to 2023 and planning for our annual MZB Spring Trip! I always like to try to tie in our show theme into the trip somehow whenever possible, and this year the show "Riverdance" is celebrating its 25th Anniversary with a broad USA tour that will be swinging by the northeast on March 12 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ! Our trip would start with a visit to the GRAMMY Museum Experience at the Center: https://www.
We would then have a Group Dinner at a restaurant TBD near the center before coming back for the 7 PM "Riverdance" show in the arena.
Transportation would be via Charter Bus and is all included in the cost of the trip. The more people who go, the cheaper the cost per person as we will split the cost of the bus across the number of people attending.
The estimated total cost per person for the entire trip is expected to end up in the $100-$130 range, again depending on our final count of how many people attend.
I kindly ask that ALL members please take a moment to complete the very short Google Form (whether you would be interested in attending or not) linked below ASAP, so we can get an accurate estimate of how many people would be attending. If you are a cleared parent to chaperone and would be interested in attending, please complete the form as well.
Please attempt to complete the form before we go on Winter Break, so we can begin planning the next steps of the trip. Students - please check with your parents before submitting the form!
Also, you will be able to use money from your Student Fundraising Account towards payment for the trip!
Lastly, please be sure to mark your calendars and save the date for our MZB End-of-Year Awards Banquet -- it will be held on Sunday, May 7th.
