Nationals Competition

Thur, Nov 6

6:00-9:00 pm Practice as normal

                       Bring COMPETITION uniform to practice;  leave in bandroom w/ helmet

9:00 pm – Load trucks

Fri, Nov 7 – THE 2008 USSBA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

7:30 am - HS bandroom opened

7:55 – Everyone to be at Stadium Parking Lot with UNIFORM (in garment bag) and hat box

           When you arrive at Stadium, report to Mr. Hilborn for attendance purposes

8:15 – Load bus (garment bags/helmets underneath)

           Depart WHS

12:00 – Arrive at Inner Harbor

             QUICK lunch stop (will need to be fast food)

             You will get $10 from the music parents for this meal J

1:15 – Depart for Stadium

2:00 – Arrive at Stadium

           Bathrooms, unload, change into uniform

           ***We will attempt, if we are allowed, to peek into the stadium so you know what it looks like!

3:00 – Stretch/Body Warm-up

3:25 – Band Tune

3:00 – Play w/ Perc and Guard (run show)

4:30 – Load Pit Equipment

4:40 – Move to Ready Area

5:00 – In Ready Area

5:15 – PERFORMANCE AT NATIONALS!!!!!

5:30 – Discuss performance

           Load trucks, change out of uniforms

8:15 – Retreat line-up

8:30 – Awards

           Last chance to use bathrooms before we leave for home

9:30 – Depart Stadium

Sat, Nov 8

1:30 am – Arrive at WHS

                 Unload brass/woodwind instruments and guard equipment only – rest of truck stays loaded

                 GO HOME AND SLEEP!!!
